Let’s Support One Another on This Journey

One phrase I hear often is, “Women should support other women.”

It sounds beautiful, and in many cases, it is true. But through my own journey as a business owner, healer, teacher, and community builder, I’ve learned that support doesn’t always come from where we expect it to.

I’ve met people I have gladly shared opportunities with. I’ve promoted their businesses, referred clients, encouraged their dreams, and celebrated their successes. Yet many times, that support wasn’t returned.

What I have discovered is that support doesn’t belong to one gender, one profession, one community, or one title. Some of my greatest supporters have been women. Some have been men. Some have been complete strangers who simply saw my vision and believed in it.

Real support comes from people who are secure enough in themselves to recognize another person’s gifts without feeling threatened by them.

It takes a unique person to see your light and not worry that it will somehow dim their own.

It takes confidence to refer a client to someone else when you know they may be a better fit.

It takes abundance thinking to understand that another person’s success does not take away from yours.

I have never believed that there is only enough room for one healer, one coach, one yoga teacher, one photographer, one entrepreneur, or one creator.

The truth is, no two people offer the exact same thing.

Your energy is different.

Your story is different.

Your experiences are different.

Your gifts are different.

Even if two people offer the same service, they will never deliver it in the same way because they are not the same person.

When a client comes to me needing something beyond what I offer, I gladly connect them with someone who can help. Why? Because my goal isn’t to keep everything for myself. My goal is to help people find what they need.

Imagine what could happen if more communities embraced that mindset.

Imagine healers collaborating instead of competing.

Imagine businesses referring clients to one another.

Imagine creators sharing opportunities instead of guarding them.

Imagine what we could build together.

The world is big enough for all of us.

There are enough people seeking healing, guidance, creativity, connection, and support.

When we choose collaboration over competition, everyone grows.

When we share resources, everyone rises.

When we celebrate one another’s gifts, our communities become stronger.

So my invitation is simple:

Let’s connect.

Let’s collaborate.

Let’s support one another.

Let’s build bridges instead of walls.

Let’s create something bigger than ourselves—not just outside our front doors, but throughout our communities and across the world.

Because your energy is unique.

My energy is unique.

And together, we can create something neither of us could build alone.
