At Soul Journey Guidance, every session is crafted to support not only your physical body but your emotional and energetic well-being.
I recently had a client who has been working on standing-intensive projects—sheetrocking their house—and even though they had a massage a few weeks ago, their body was ready for some deep, intentional care. This 90-minute session included reflexology, therapeutic bodywork, magnesium spray, breathwork, and Reiki, all integrated to bring full-body relaxation and alignment.
Reflexology for Hands and Feet
Reflexology is an incredible tool for anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet or performing repetitive hand movements. By applying pressure to specific points on the hands and feet, we can target corresponding organs, muscles, and systems throughout the body. In this session, we focused on:
- Feet: Releasing tension from long hours of standing, improving circulation, and alleviating stress on the lower back.
- Hands: Soothing repetitive strain from daily activities, improving dexterity, and promoting overall energy flow.
I also use specialized reflexology tools to ensure precision and effectiveness in each pressure point, helping the body restore its natural balance.
Magnesium Spray for Muscle Relaxation
To enhance muscle release and promote deeper relaxation, I applied my custom-blended magnesium spray to key areas. Magnesium is vital for our bodies—it helps:
- Reduce muscle tension and cramps
- Support recovery from physical strain
- Promote relaxation in the nervous system
- Provide a natural “reset” for overworked muscles
By combining magnesium with targeted massage, muscles receive both chemical support and physical release, making this combination extremely effective for tension relief.
Armpit and Upper Back Muscle Work
Many people don’t realize how much tension the armpit area can hold. Muscles such as the latissimus dorsi, teres major, and subscapularis play key roles in shoulder mobility and upper back alignment. Tightness here often contributes to:
- Upper back and shoulder pain
- Restricted range of motion
- General stiffness and discomfort
By gently working these areas, alongside the reflexology and magnesium support, the session allowed for a full release and improved mobility.
Integrating Breathwork
Breath is the bridge between body and mind. This client was already familiar with breathwork, so we were able to dive deeper, guiding the nervous system toward relaxation and supporting the body in letting go of held stress. Conscious breathing enhances the benefits of all other modalities in the session by:
- Increasing oxygen flow to muscles
- Encouraging mental clarity
- Deepening relaxation and energy release
Reiki Energy Healing
The session concluded with Reiki, an energy healing technique that supports balance, restores energy flow, and helps release what no longer serves you. During Reiki, I guide clients to focus on breath while I sweep the energy over the body, helping to clear stagnation and invite renewal. Reiki helps:
- Reduce stress and tension
- Promote emotional and energetic balance
- Support the body’s natural healing processes
- Enhance overall relaxation and well-being
By combining reflexology, magnesium-enhanced bodywork, breathwork, and Reiki, this session provided a multi-layered approach that addresses body, mind, and energy simultaneously.
