Stinging Nettle • Chickweed • Comfrey Root
There was a time when I wandered Oregon forests with scissors in hand and earth under my nails gathering medicine from moss-kissed trails, letting herbs dry in my kitchen like nature’s garlands.
Herbalism wasn’t a hobby then, and it isn’t now
It is a way of breathing, a way of listening, a way of remembering.
And just because I now live in the desert does not mean that I cannot be a green witch in my kitchen.
Magic follows those who create it.
I still birth healing with my hands
through massage, through dance, through breath, through yoga,
and yes… through my teas and medicines.
So today we honor three plant allies:
✨ Stinging Nettle
✨ Chickweed
✨ Comfrey Root
Sourced locally from Herbally Grounded right here in Nevada a blessing for the body and soul.
| Plant | Physical Benefits | Spiritual Energy |
| Stinging Nettle | Nourishing minerals, strengthens blood, supports hormones, increases energy, supports kidneys & hair | Strength, boundaries, reclaiming power, grounding into the body |
| Chickweed | Lymph cleanser, anti-inflammatory, supports metabolism, softens tissues, womens wellness ally | Gentle renewal, dissolving emotional stagnation, soft feminine healing |
| Comfrey Root | Tissue repair, joint support, gut soothing, deep restoration |

These herbs nourish not only the physical body,
but the emotional and energetic body as well.
How to Prepare This Herbal Infusion
This is not a tea
it is a medicinal infusion.
A deep soak. A surrender. A full extraction of earth wisdom.
You will need:
- 1 tbsp stinging nettle
- 1 tbsp chickweed
- 1 tsp comfrey root
- 12–16 oz hot water
Ritual Directions
- Heat water just to a simmer — not boiling.
- Place herbs in a jar or teapot.
- Pour water over herbs.
- Cover — to protect the volatile plant oils.
- Steep at least 4 hours, up to overnight for full nourishment.
- Strain, sip slowly, and breathe into gratitude.
This is slow medicine.
This is body-wisdom medicine.
This is ancestral remembering.
A Sip Prayer
Each sip is a spell:
I nourish. I strengthen. I soften. I rebuild.
Let this infusion remind you:
You can root anywhere.
Even in the desert.
Even in seasons of change.
Magic grows where you tend it.
Your herbal witchcraft didn’t fade
it simply transformed with you.
With earth-soft hands & desert-strong spirit,
