Before the world shifted in 2020, I had already found my passion in something beautifully simple: helping children slow down, stretch, breathe, and just be. My journey as a children’s yoga teacher began just before the pandemic, offering playful, imaginative classes filled with movement, music, and moments of stillness.
But this wasn’t your typical yoga class.
Picture little feet dancing across the room, tiny hands reaching for floating bubbles, laughter erupting beneath a parachute, and soft breaths drawn in at the end of a freeze dance. It was yoga, yes—but blended with rhythm, imagination, joy, and a whole lot of love.

Yoga for Kids and Families: Why It Matters
Children’s yoga is about far more than flexibility or balance. It’s a doorway to emotional regulation, body awareness, and self-love. Through poses, breath work, and mindfulness games, kids begin to understand their bodies, recognize their emotions, and discover tools to find calm—even in the midst of chaos.
When families join in, the impact multiplies.
Classes become shared experiences of movement and connection. Parents and children laugh together, move together, and discover the power of deep breaths and still moments—side by side. These aren’t just yoga classes; they’re memories being made, lessons being lived, and hearts being opened.

Dance, Play, and Stillness: A Unique Blend
Each class I create is carefully designed to be accessible, engaging, and joyful. Here’s what you might find in a session:
- Yoga poses and flows made fun for every age and ability
- Dance and music, where kids can freely express their energy
- Games and races that build coordination, confidence, and community
- Parachute play and bubble time, sparking imagination and pure delight
- Mindful breath work and mini meditations, gently helping kids tune into their inner calm
This balance of movement and stillness helps children not just move, but feel seen, safe, and supported.
The Joy of Teaching
When I look back at photos from those early classes, I see radiant smiles, brave little poses, and magical moments of peace. There’s nothing like watching a child find serenity in their own breath—or seeing a family erupt in giggles during a partner pose.
Teaching children’s yoga is one of the greatest joys of my life. And now, I’m beyond excited to bring these classes back.
I can’t wait to help more young minds and growing bodies discover strength, stillness, and so much fun—one playful breath at a time.
Stay tuned as I share more of this journey—photos from our favorite moments, behind-the-scenes stories, and announcements about upcoming classes and events.
Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or fellow yoga lover—thank you for supporting this heart-filled mission.
